Photo Glass GPP Chip

The GPP chip is produced by photoresist method. The technology of SIPOS (oxygen doped semi insulating polysilicon) deposition is applied to improve the quality and reliability of the chip itself.

Gpp is the abbreviation of Glassivation (vitrified) passivation (passivation) parts (element) or parts of an apparats (device) phrase, and is collectively referred to as glass passivation device. It generally refers to all active devices that introduce or contain plasma film protection process.

However, due to the exposed on crystal body of PN junction which used on surface mount diode, had a very good application performance, so that the Gpp (Glassivation passivation parts) has become synonymous with the "glass passivated diode".

Therefore, because of its high reliability and stability, the glass passivation process is widely used in high voltage, high power diode. At present, there are mainly ways to form glass passivation films, such as doctor blade, photoresister and electrophoresis. Our company can supply the corresponding process production according to customer needs and application.

The doctor blade method is prepared by mixing glass powder and solvent into glass slurry, and the blade is used to scrape the glass into the mesa of the groove. This process can be used to make a thicker glass passivation film, especially for the devices such as high power and high voltage devices and power electronic devices.

Secondly, this process can be effectively protected by the SIPOS (semi insulating polyoxysiliside) deposition process, and it can improve the reliability and stability of the chip device. It can meet the customer's high reliability demand under the conditions such as high temperature, high humidity, high reverse bias , strong electric field and so on.

The products include all kinds of products, such as STDGPP, FRGPP, HERGPP, SFGPP, TVSGPP and so on.
